Dental Braces at Naenae

Oral braces are orthodontic devices that align and straighten teeth and assist place them in relation to a person’s bite, as well as enhance dental health and appearance. Braces can also close gaps. They are frequently used to address underbites, overbites, open bites, deep bites, crossbites, crooked teeth, and other dental and jaw abnormalities. Braces can be used for either aesthetic or structural purposes (to fix issues with the bite). Dental braces are frequently used in combination with other orthodontic tools to help broaden the palate or jaws and shape the teeth and jaws.

Braces Treatment Process

Your dentist will place a set of brackets to the front side of each individual tooth to begin the treatment. Wings, a slot, and a base are the essential components of a bracket. The wire is inserted into the slot. Wings are used to secure a wire into the slot with a little rubber band that varies in colour. The base is what holds the bracket to the tooth.

How Braces Work

When a force is delivered to the teeth’s roots via the braces and wire, cells in the bone and tissues around the root are stimulated to function. Pressure at the bracket causes pressure and tension (pulling) at the root of the tooth, resulting in tooth movement and bone remodelling. Your dentist will utilise this gentle and precise movement to reposition the teeth into their perfect place.
